How deleted user accounts reflect in Collibra
When a user account is deleted in Collibra, the following behaviors apply to the actions of that user:
- Assets, attributes, and relations created or modified by the user remain intact, but the Created By and Last Modified By fields show Deleted User instead of their name.
- Responsibilities assigned to the user are automatically deleted.
- View permissions associated with the user are automatically deleted. If the user was the last individual with restricted access to a community or domain, the community or domain may become visible to all users.
- Comments posted by the user remain, but the comment section on asset, domain, or community pages shows Deleted User instead of their name.
- Ratings provided by the user remain, but are attributed to Deleted User instead of their name.
- History entries for any changes made by the user, such as creating, updating, or deleting assets, attributes, relations, complex relations, comments, or ratings, retain the first and last name of the user from the time the history record was created. These names remain visible even after the user account is deleted.
