# Data Categories

Data Categories displays out-of-the-box and custom data categories, which are logical groupings of data classes to meet your business needs. You can add new custom data categories and manage existing ones from this page.

Negative IDs, such as -14, cannot be edited because they represent out-of-the-box data categories.
