# View Runtime logs

Runtime logs capture real-time execution details from Spark applications that run as part of a DQ job. These logs provide insights into the job's execution on the distributed computing infrastructure (YARN/Spark).

## Prerequisites

* The job must be actively executing (Job Status = RUNNING)
* The job must be running on an agent/remote infrastructure (Job Type is NOT Pushdown)

## Steps

1. On the [Jobs page](/data-quality-self-hosted/core-concepts/explorer/managing-the-jobs-page.md), select **Runtime Logs** under the **Actions** menu.\ :chevrons-right: The Runtime logs open in new browser tab and show Spark application lifecycle information, executor information, job progress, resource utilization, error messages, and task details.
